TweakTown reports that prices of dynamic random-access memory (DRAM) are due to increase by around 18-23% over the next few months. According to official predictions, the current global chip shortage is not just hurting GPU production, but also DRAM supply. This affects a wide variety of other things such as mobile, graphics, specialty DDR4 (even older-gen DDR3), and server memory.
